There are no grand origin stories here. No garages, no eureka moments, no overnight success. Just a growing disquiet with the ordinary — and an unwillingness to accept it.

For years, the South African cannabis market offered the same thing: product without provenance. Cannabis that existed but could not be explained. You bought it, you consumed it, and you knew nothing about where it came from, who grew it, or whether anyone along the way had cared.

Higher Craft was born from a single, stubborn question: what does cannabis look like when it is treated with the same reverence we give fine wine, single-origin coffee, or hand-rolled cigars?

The answer, we found, looked nothing like what was available. So we decided to build it ourselves.
